Its really bad yeah. Ive had issues with Switch, PS4 and PS5, eventually Ive replaced the PS5 sticks for TMR ones which are supposed to be darn good, Im assuming at some point Ill do the same for Switch 2 if its an option as that'll be an issue down the road otherwise.
It's a goddamn handheld, for crying out loud! PS4 level is still pretty impressive. People expecting it to compete with even the Seres S were deluding themselves (heck, some were expecting PS5 visuals!) I can see Switch 2 games being much more optimized for the hardware than the Series S, though (due to the popularity of the hardware). But man, I still don't get it. You don't buy a Switch ...

Once ported to PS4, the work needed to then port to PC is relatively minor, and a 6 year old GPU could max all settings for 4k/60/HDR (as my 2070Super did for RDR1), giving an experience closer to what a dedicated PS5 port would be. With more current GPUs, 4k/120 would be doable, but I'm using a 4k/60hz TV.
