We had visited January 4 and most shrines and temples were very busy around January 1 and up until this day but this one was relatively quiet and calm. The shrine itself can be found in the Gion area… Full review by deanosaur89

A shrine located in the Gion area. It was founded as early as 656 AD and has a nice facade. It's one of the most touristy areas of Kyoto. Full review by Toru O
