DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) — Israel’s defense minister warned Saturday that “Tehran will burn” if Iran continues firing missiles, as the two countries traded blows a day after Israel launched a blistering surprise attack on Iranian nuclear and military sites, killing several top generals.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the IDF said the strikes focused on key locations “related to the Iranian regime’s nuclear weapons project.”

In the wake of a series of strikes by Israel on Iran's nuclear sites, potentially pushing the Middle East to the brink of an all-out conflict, President Donald Trump told ABC News he thought the attacks had been "excellent" and suggested there was "more to come."
