The service, which allowed Amazon’s Prime members to try on select clothing items, shoes and accessories at home before completing a purchase, is set to wind down in the coming weeks. The last day eligible customers can place orders using the subscriber benefit is Jan. 31, the company confirmed.

Amazon announced it is pulling the plug on its "Try Before You Buy" service launched in 2017, which allowed customers to order multiple items to try on before purchasing.

Amazon will shut down its Try Before You Buy Amazon Prime program at the end of January. The service, launched in 2018 as Prime Wardrobe, competed with similar try-before-you-buy services, such as Stitch Fix.

Amazon previously allowed people to get select clothing and accessories shipped to them before actually buying anything, mirroring how many in-person stores work. Unfortunately, this is now going away.
