The winner between the Buckeyes and Broncos would face the Miami Hurricanes in the second round if the playoffs started right now in this scenario.

Heading into the CFP second rankings reveal of he 2024 season, the Buckeyes (+300) were holding strong as the championship favorite at BetMGM — up from +350 in Week 10. Oregon wasn’t far behind Ohio State at +350 as just three other teams held odds better than 10-1. Texas was +450 while Alabama and Georgia tied at +800.
