CBS’ upcoming daytime sudser Beyond the Gates (new title) has cast three actors to play prominent members of the fictitious Dupree family. Tamara Tunie (As the World Turns, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit) stars as Anita Dupree,

Tamara Tunie, Daphnee Duplaix, and Karla Mosley will star as prominent members of the Dupree family in Beyond the Gates.

Today, the network announced an updated title, Beyond the Gates, and the first three cast members: Tamara Tunie, Daphnee Duplaix and Karla Mosley.

Karla Mosley (The Bold and The Beautiful, Guiding Light) and Daphnee Duplaix (One Life to Live, Passions) will all star in Beyond The Gates from Creator/Executive Producer Michele Val Jean (The Bold and The Beautiful,

Duplaix will play the role of Dr. Nicole Dupree Richardson, Anita's psychiatrist daughter whose life appears perfect from the outside. Duplaix is best known for her role on "One Life to Live" as Rachel Gannon, which earned her an NAACP Award nomination.

Tamara Tunie, Daphnee Duplaix and Karla Mosley will play lead roles in the soap — which also has a new title, adding “Beyond” to its former name The Gates — that’s set to premiere in early 2025. Beyond the Gates will be the first daytime drama centered on Black characters since NBC’s Generations in 1989, and the first such hourlong show ever.
