After Wednesday morning's explosive Nintendo Direct livestream dedicated to Switch 2, I got a chance to spend several hours playing some of the games that will bless the new Nintendo console after it launches on June 5.

The closest we got to a new Legend of Zelda game for the Nintendo Switch 2 was the announcement of Hyrule Warriors Age of Imprisonment. The game's story directly precedes Tears of the Kingdom and it seems that Princess Zelda herself is the main character here.

The Nintendo Switch 2 and its games look phenomenal, but neither the console or its upcoming Switch 2 games will come cheap. Mario Kart World – a Switch 2-exclusive launch game, will cost a whopping $80 in the United States – quite a jump from the $60 price tag of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
