LIV Golf's Ian Poulter was requested as a sponsor exemption into next month's Dunhill Links Championship at St Andrews but the DP World Tour rejected it, according to Flushing It.

According to Guy Kinnings, CEO of the DP World Tour, the appeals process is still in flux. Options include the internal appeals process, which is mainly used for disciplinary issues on the various tours, or the Sport Resolutions Panel, which heard the appeals of Ian Poulter, Adrian Otaegui and Justin Harding against the European Tour Group in 2022.

Jon Rahm and Brooks Koepka, two of the biggest stars on the Saudi-backed LIV Golf League, plan to play on the DP World Tour this fall.
