General Motors is recalling 449,671 pickup trucks and SUVs in the U.S. due to inoperative low brake fluid warning, the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said on Friday. The recall includes some 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500,

The electronic brake control module software might fail to display a warning light when a loss of brake fluid takes place.

The recall affects several models including the 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, GMC Sierra 1500, and the 2023-2024 Chevrolet Tahoe. Other impacted models are Suburban, GMC Yukon, Yukon XL, Cadillac Escalade as well as Escalade ESV.
