Dozens of masked U.S. Border Patrol agents showed up in trucks outside of the press conference at the Japanese American National Museum.

California Governor Gavin Newsom’s office posted a video on social media showing agents gathering outside the conference, drawing condemnation from the governor and Los Angeles mayor.

Border Patrol agents arrested at least one person, who a coworker said was delivering strawberries, outside of Gov. Gavin Newsom's event in Little Tokyo.

That détente has now ended, with Newsom deciding that it was time to lace up his boxing gloves and take the fight to Trump.
