Five-time All-Pro defensive tackle Cameron Heyward remains out of Pittsburgh Steelers training camp amid ongoing contract negotiations, and two of his teammates stood by his side, calling for the front office to meet his demands and pave the way for his return.

The Steelers and general manager Omar Khan have dealt out quite a few contracts this offseason, especially on the defensive side. The team signed Darius Slay to a one-year contract in March, followed by Pittsburgh trading for Jalen Ramsey in June and then ended with making T.J. Watt the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history last month.

Cameron Heyward is continuing to wait out the Pittsburgh Steelers, who have yet to change his contract just one-year into a three-year deal. However, Steelers star cornerbacks Jalen Ramsey and Darius Slay already want to see Heyward gets his bag, and put on public pressure to the organization to get his deal done sooner rather than later.
