Thousands in Kathmandu celebrated Holi, widely known as the Hindu festival of colours, with vibrant colours, music, and dance, honouring the arrival of spring and the divine love of Krishna and Radha.

Security has been beefed up in Kathmandu Valley in view of Holi festival. Chief of Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, Senior Superintendent of Police Binod Ghimire, shared that traffic checking campaign has been accelerated in Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur districts of the Valley from this morning.

Spring’s arrival may be uncertain after the groundhog’s prediction, but Holi, the Hindu festival of colors, which takes place March 14 this year, brings a vibrant promise: a fresh start, community joy and a chance to leave negativity behind.
