A former inmate who spent five years inside HMP Frankland provided a chilling insight into the "misery" crossbow killer Kyle Clifford will face inside a Category A prison

Clifford, who will be sentenced for three counts of murder, one of rape, one of false imprisonment and two counts of possession of an offensive weapon, is facing a life sentence.

Kyle Clifford has also been convicted of raping Louise Hunt before killing her with a crossbow. The women were the wife and daughters of BBC racing commentator John Hunt.
