A body was found by a drone operator Wednesday evening in an area that was to be searched for any sign of a missing 18-year-old woman, authorities said.

MORGAN HILL – A body found Wednesday night on the banks of Anderson Lake was identified Thursday as that of Marissa DiNapoli, an 18-year-old Morgan Hill woman reported missing earlier this week, according to authorities. The Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office confirmed DiNapoli’s identity Thursday.

Morgan Hill authorities on Thursday positively identified a body that was found near the Anderson Reservoir as belonging to 18-year-old Marissa DiNapoli.
