After their comeback effort fell short in Game 5, the Indiana Pacers are one loss away from losing the NBA Finals to the Oklahoma City Thunder. In Game 5, the Pacers rallied to come back from down 18 points, cutting the deficit to two, before the wheels fell off the bus.
After right calf tightness compromised him in Game 5, Tyrese Haliburton made his intentions clear for Game 6 with his Indiana Pacers’ season now on the line.
With Turner set to need a new contract this offseason, the Pacers have a tough decision to make. It has been rumored that he wants to be paid around $30 million per season. That is a lot of money for a player who has fallen apart in the NBA Finals.
Haliburton’s status is understandably in at least some doubt, after the All-Star guard was undergoing evaluation to determine the extent of what is reportedly a right calf strain.
