The Kansas City-area home of Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes and his family was burglarized last month, PEOPLE can confirm. Mahomes’ eight-acre Belton, Missouri estate was broken into around midnight on Sunday, Oct. 6, according to a police report obtained by PEOPLE.

According to TMZ Sports, Kelce’s home in Leawood was broken into shortly after the Chiefs’ “Monday Night Football” victory kicked off. TMZ reported $20,000 in cash was taken and the back door was damaged, citing a police document.

The Chiefs’ Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes’s homes were broken into within hours of each other on Oct. 6 and Oct. 7.

The burglaries occurred before the Kansas City Chiefs’ game against the New Orleans Saints on Oct. 7, according to TMZ.
