In Pro Football Focus’ early 2026 NFL mock draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers take Penn State quarterback Drew Allar. The Steelers end up with the 14th pick, which is low enough to have a quarterback fall right into their laps.

The Pittsburgh Steelers did just that Saturday when they posted a video with the caption "Pittsburgh is officially on the clock" since the city will host the 2026 NFL draft. The video also included the dates, as the draft will happen from April 23-25 next year:

A quarterback was among the picks the Steelers made during the final day of the NFL draft on Saturday. The team selected Ohio State quarterback Will Howard in the sixth round, who won the College Football Playoff National Championship in January.
