Max’s The Penguin has finally premiered its finale, conveying a fitting end to the arcs of all of its leading characters. Aside from Colin Farrell’s masterful portrayal of the titular villain, Cristin Milioti’s Sofia is the one that completely stole the limelight due to her powerful storyline.

Selina first popped up as Catwoman, her cat-burglarising and jewellery thief alter-ego, in Batman #1 in 1940. In 1966, she had her first on-screen TV appearance in Batman, played by Julie Newmar, then Eartha Kitt, followed by big-screen movie adaptations of her slinky cat persona by Michelle Pfeiffer and Halle Berry.

The Penguin's finale suggests a future meeting between Carmine Falcone's daughters that could lead one to go down a dark path in The Batman: Part II.

In the final moments, Oz is told by his girlfriend Eve Karlo that no one can stand in his way now. Then, the shot widens and we see the Bat Signal light up the night sky. The Batman 2 is released in 2026, and we know we'll see Oz again then.
