A walk-through on Sunset Boulevard on Thursday in downtown Palisades revealed a tiny microcosm of the havoc the Los Angeles wildfires have wreaked.

Fire officials moved approximately 30 abandoned vehicles on roadways to clear a way through as people fled the Palisades Fire in Los Angeles.

Emergency officials used a bulldozer to clear several cars that were abandoned along Sunset Blvd as the Palisades Fire roared close.

Evacuees escaping the Palisades Fire were asked to abandon their vehicles, but doing so clogged up the roadways.
