Base prize of US$112,500 to be awarded to all ten participating teams, totalling US$1.125 million Teams finishing fifth to eighth will earn US$270,000 each, and teams finishing ninth and 10th will get US$135,000 apiece

Nigeria will open the chase for the sole African World Cup ticket at the event with a tie against Tanzania on Sunday, September 22nd. They will follow up with a Zimbabwean encounter on Monday, September 23rd, before a final group game on Wednesday, September 25th, against division two winners Malawi.

In a landmark announcement, ICC has made it clear that the winners of the 2024 T20 Women’s World Cup will be receiving equal prize money as that of their men counterparts. Despite the decision being made public recently, the decision was taken in July at the ICC’s Annual Conference.
