First Lady Jill Biden said she was disappointed in former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi over the role she played in the president dropping out on Wednesday.

In rare remarks from the first lady, Jill Biden touched on the former House Speaker's rumored push to get President Joe Biden to drop out.

First lady Jill Biden said she has been thinking “a lot” about her decades-long relationship with former Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) as she prepares to leave the White House. In a lengthy profile published Wednesday in The Washington Post,

First lady Jill Biden hinted at holding a grudge against House Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi for turning up the pressure on President Joe Biden to exit the presidential race in July. Pelosi led the movement to unseat the president as the Democratic nominee after a questionable debate performance tanked Joe Biden’s popularity among voters.
