The president’s quick reversal on tariffs over Greenland was another sign of his willingness to rip up the international order — even parts of it that he himself has made.

The poll from Emerson College found that 43% of likely voters approve of Trump’s job performance, while 51% disapprove, as he hit his one-year mark in office on Tuesday. Meanwhile, a majority — 56% of voters — think the country is headed in the wrong direction, while 44% believe it is on the right track.
The vote comes a week after the White House peeled off GOP support for a similar measure in the Senate.
