In a surprising move, the Miami Dolphins have fired wide receivers coach and pass game specialist Wes Welker. The former Patriots star had been with the team for three seasons, helping to develop one of the NFL’s most explosive receiving duos in Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle.

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. -- The Miami Dolphins fired special teams coordinator Danny Crossman after five years in the role, the team announced Friday. The Dolphins also fired wide receivers coach and passing game coordinator Wes Welker after their passing offense fell from top of the league in 2023 to 15th in 2024.

NFL wide receiver, was hired in 2022 and helped the Dolphins to one of the best passing offenses in the league his first two seasons.
