Video has emerged from a fan of Mariano Rivera injuring his Achilles in the outfield at the Yankees' Old-Timers' Day.

Rivera is the first and only player to be voted into the Hall of Fame unanimously. He holds the record for the most saves in baseball history (652), he was an All-Star 13 times with the Yankees and he won five championships in pinstripes.

The former Yankees closer loved shagging fly balls during his playing career. Even though it led to an injury that cost him most of the 2012 season, he did so at his own peril again.
