The U.S. Central Command announced on the 9th that an uncrewed surface vessel (USV) rescued two crew members of a U.S. Army AH-64 Apache attack helicopter shot down by Iranian forces in the Gulf of Oman.

The US launched strikes against Iran in response to the downing of an Army Apache helicopter off the coast of Oman, according to a statement from US Central Command.

"The Soldiers were safely rescued within approximately two hours and are in stable condition," CENTCOM said in a post on X.
