Quarterback Gardner Minshew reached agreement Thursday on a one-year deal with the Chiefs, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

As one of their later free-agency moves, the Chiefs pinpointed this veteran quarterback to be Patrick Mahomes' backup in 2025.
