A woman was thrown off her two-wheeler and landed on a pillar after a car hit her vehicle on an elevated road in Noida, media reports said.

A scooty-riding girl who landed on the pillar of the elevated road near Noida Sector 25 after she was hit by an unidentified vehicle on Saturday is been rescued, said Noida police.

The scooty-riding girl was traveling from Noida to Ghaziabad when she reached sector 25, and a speeding car hit her and she landed on the elevated road pillar.

The emergency rescue team, including police and fire brigade personnel, quickly arrived at the scene and used a crane to rescue her.
