Dozens of school threats have been reported since a deadly school shooting at a Georgia high school earlier this month, including several locally.

The Putnam County Sheriff posted the mugshots of two students arrested for making school threats within 12 hours.

Putnam County deputies have arrested three teenagers under the age of 15 so far this week. They all made threats of violence against their schools and are facing felony charges.

An 11-year-old Browning-Pearce Elementary School student was arrested Thursday morning for bringing a knife to school, the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office announced.

Social media threats are targeting schools across the nation and some are making their way to Middle Tennessee.
