More than a week after four women alleged Smokey Robinson had sexually abused them for years, the LA County Sheriff’s Department has opened a case.

Smokey Robinson was sued by four women who alleged sexual assault in a $50 million lawsuit. His attorney Christopher Frost called the complaint "an ugly method of trying to extract money from an 85-year-old American icon.
