North American fans of Oasis could have the chance to see them perform in the US for the first time since 2008 as they're due to 'announce more tour dates'

The news comes on the heels of Oasis selling out its just-announced reunion tour in the UK and Ireland. The band has been on a 15-year hiatus owing to a bitter feud between bandmates — and brothers — Liam and Noel Gallagher.

Brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher will reunite for a comeback tour of the UK & Ireland next summer, their first time returning to the stage together since the latter quit the band in 2009. The band will reportedly announce New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Boston dates.
