Aldi beats rival Lidl as cheapest supermarket of 2024 - The new study tracked thousands of grocery prices across eight of the UK’s biggest supermarkets throughout the year.

Aldi has been named the UK's cheapest supermarket of 2024 by consumer group Which?, with the discount retailer topping the charts for the month of December as well as every other month last year.

The cheapest supermarket of 2024 has been named – and it’s not Lidl - The list of 56 items analysed included both branded and own-brand items, such as peas, bread, milk and butter
