EXCLUSIVE: Sources are telling us that Amazon MGM Studios has won the bidding war for Mattel’s animated feature Bob the Builder which had Netflix, DreamWorks Animation and others vying for the project.

The upcoming Bob the Builder animated movie starring Anthony Ramos has been acquired by Amazon MGM Studios. In January 2024, it was announced that an animated Bob the Builder film is officially in the works.

The project is from Mattel Films, Shadowmachine, Jennifer Lopez’s Nuyorican Productions, and actor-producer Anthony Ramos.
