The injury saga around Jermaine Burton has dominated the discourse around the Cincinnati Bengals since the weekend. Tuesday, Bengals head coach Zac Taylor provided further details, stating that Burton reported a swelling issue during the team’s Week 1 preseason game and will be on a rehab field during practice.

Burton wasn’t at practice due to an undisclosed injury and the team is calling his status day-to-day. Burton is entering his second season with the Bengals and is looking to put a tough rookie season behind him.
