Not many players will have as good a day that Frank Vatrano had on Sunday. Vatrano agreed to a three-year contract extension through the 2027-28 season with Anaheim and then had two goals and an assist in the Ducks 4-1 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Vatrano ranks second on the Ducks in goals with nine and third in points with 20 after getting his first All-Star selection last season.

The Ducks have locked down one of their pending UFAs. On Sunday, it was announced that Frank Vatrano had signed a three-year extension. Instead of a typical salary format though, Vatrano will be paid $3 million a year in base salary with $9 million in deferred salary.
