Gov. JB Pritzker said he "can't rule anything out" when asked about a possible run for the presidency in 2028.

On NBC's "Meet the Press," Kristen Welker asked Pritzker if he would rule out a run for president in 2028. "I'm focused on running for reelection as governor of the State of Illinois," Pritzker said. "Everything that I do really is focused on lifting up the people of my state."

For months, speculation has swirled about whether Gov. JB Pritzker will launch a presidential bid in 2028. On Sunday’s Meet the Press, NBC’s Kristen Welker pressed him on the question.
