A growing number of public companies are stacking up Bitcoin as the asset becomes more valuable, emulating MicroStrategy's model.

The consensus price target for MicroStrategy is just under $550 a share, 70% above its current level. The warning signs are clearly visible. F

The move is part of the company’s plan to issue $21 billion of equity and $21 billion in fixed-income instruments over the next three years.

MicroStrategy bought bitcoin yet again, and it has no plans to slow down purchases anytime soon. The company also plans to raise $2 billion in capital over three years to fund more purchases.

MicroStrategy Inc. bought $101 million of Bitcoin after announcing that it would use perpetual preferred stock as well as common shares and debt to acquire more of the cryptocurrency.

MicroStrategy (MSTR) has become the poster child for Bitcoin investment, with its shares surging over 450% in the past year, outperforming Bitcoin itself, which has doubled since January 2024. Wall Street analysts have also remained bullish on the MSTR stock.

MicroStrategy bought about $209 million of bitcoin in the past week, making it eight weeks in a row that the company has acquired more of the digital currency.
