Former India opener Aakash Chopra shared his take on Mohammed Shami not being part of the playing XI for the first T20I against England. Shami made his return to Team India for the first time since the 2023 ODI World Cup but was benched for the first game.

The 34-year-old is returning to the national team for the first time since the 2023 Cricket World Cup final after an extended period away from the game.
