Netflix just announced a release date and a first look at Squid Game season three. During the streamer’s major slate presentation, Next on Netflix, the streamer announced that the mega-hit Korean-language drama and Netflix’s most popular series is slated to return for its final installment on June 27th.

We don’t have to wait three years for Squid Game season 3 like we did for season 2, but we now know Netflix’s number one non-English language series of all time will be ending soon. Today, Netflix unveiled Squid Game’s final season will premiere on June 27 with some sneak peeks into the aftermath of season 2's bloody finale.

Lee stars in Season 2 of “Squid Game” alongside returning cast member Wi Ha-jun as Jun-ho and Lee Byung-hun as the mysterious Front Man, alongside a slew of new stars. Hwang Dong-hyuk is the creator of the series and serves as director and executive producer, with Kim Ji-yeon also serving as an EP.
