Yep, it's another story of a conservative father and a somewhat more liberal daughter having to end a lengthy estrangement.

Allen plays the owner of a car restoration garage in the new comedy, which costars Kat Dennings as his estranged daughter.

“Shifting Gears” stars Daryl "Chill" Mitchell as Stitch, Seann William Scott as Gabriel, Maxwell Simkins as Carter, Barrett Margolis as Georgia, Tim Allen as Matt, and Kat Dennings as Riley.

The ensemble would likely see the return of leads Tim Allen and Kat Dennings who plays father-daughter duo Matt and Riley. Both Seann William Scott and Daryl Mitchell would also likely be back with Dennings’ onscreen kids played by Maxwell Simkins and Barrett Margolis. But only time will tell for certain.
