Virginia State Police are hoping the public can help provide information about a shooting that happened on I-64 near Norview Avenue on Saturday afternoon. The man who was shot is expected to survive.

Michael Shortridge, 24, has been charged with the murder of 42-year-old Steele resident Christopher Lester, according to a news release from Kentucky State Police. Investigators said Lester was found dead at a Laurel Fork home on Jan. 11.
