The two lawmakers in question are former Georgia state representatives Karen Bennett and Sharon Henderson, both Democrats, who are facing federal charges related to fraudulently obtaining pandemic-era unemployment benefits.

The election on March 10, or a runoff in April, will determine who serves out the remainder of Ms. Greene’s term after her unexpected resignation from Congress.
