According to reports, the new MacBook Air 2025 models will be announced earlier than other devices, including the rumoured iPhone SE 4.

The odd little 13-inch MacBook Pro was refreshed with the M2 chip, but it became the only MacBook to retain the old design. In late 2023, Apple finally phased that out with its M3 MacBook Pro release in favor of a more affordable 14-inch MacBook Pro — the first in that design to feature a base M-series chip.

An insider claims that Apple will launch the M4 MacBook Air laptops before the iPhone SE 4 and iPad 11 next year.

Apple is reportedly planning to announce refreshed 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air models featuring the new M4 chip in early 2025. The update could promise performance gains, enhanced battery life, improved camera technology,
