It’s been a tough start to the season for Angel Reese and the Sky. With Chicago sitting near the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings at 2-6, Sky general manager Jeff Pagliocca said the team “needs more” out of its second-year pro.
Chicago lost its seventh game of the season on Friday against the Atlanta Dream, losing by a final score of 88-70. Reese played 28 minutes and finished with 12 points and nine rebounds while shooting 4-of-10 from the floor and 4-of-7 from the foul line.
As Reese struggles early in the season, the expectations around her are louder, and more complicated, than most.
