The 2025 College Baseball World Series rolled along on Monday with a pair of Bracket 2 games in Omaha. In the opening matchup, Arkansas defeated Murray State 3-0 in an elimination game behind a no-hitter by Gage Wood to keep its title hopes intact.

Arkansas junior Gage Wood threw the College World Series’s first no-hitter in 65 years Monday in a 3-0 elimination-game victory over Murray State.

LSU has the second-best odds after hammering West Virginia to reach Omaha. The Tigers have a great pedigree in the College World Series with seven national championships. Oregon State, Arizona, Coastal Carolina and UCLA have all reached college baseball's pinnacle since 2012.
