Coronation Street star Colson Smith, who plays Craig Tinker in the ITV soap, has opened up about having a hair transplant after noticing ‘hair loss at the age [of] 22’. The Corrie star, now 25, revealed the results of the procedure on in smiley Instagram photos, which showed him holding a ‘Mr Hair Transplant’ mug and flashing a thumbs up.

Tributes are being paid to the actor Geoffrey Hinsliff, best known for playing Don Brennan in Coronation Street, who has died at the age of 87. Hinsliff, who was born in Leeds, first found fame in the ITV soap in 1987 with his cobbles career lasting a decade.
