The shooting happened at approximately 12:40 a.m. Friday, June 20, in the 2600 block of Main Street, according to Dallas police.

A person died early Wednesday after being shot in Dallas’ Red Bird neighborhood. Authorities were called to the 7300 block of northbound Marvin D. Love service road for a possible shooting around 2:40 a.m., Dallas police said. When Dallas Fire-Rescue arrived at the scene, the victim died, officials said.
