Omaha men's basketball forward Deng Mayar, who joined the team this summer, died Saturday, the team announced Sunday evening.
The body of a 22-year-old student-athlete has been found after he drowned in a reservoir, Utah officials said. On Aug. 16,22-year-old Deng Ador was in Blackridge Reservoir with Sa Mafutaga, 21, when Ador began struggling in the water, according to a Facebook post by the Herriman City Police Department.

The body of a 22-year-old man has been found after he drowned at Blackridge Reservoir in Herriman on Saturday, according to Herriman Police.
HERRIMAN — Emergency crews recovered the body of a missing man in Blackridge Reservoir in Herriman Saturday evening. According to Sgt. Greg Shaver with the Herriman Police Department, Sa Mafutaga, 21, and Deng Ador, 22, were in the Reservoir when a bystander called police to report “two individuals in distress” at approximately 5:40 p.m.
