Texans Wire on MSNInstant analysis of the Texans' trade of WR John Metchie to the Eagles
According to NFL Network's Tom Pellissero, the Texans are re-acquiring their 2026 fifth-round pick and tight end Harrison Bryant from the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for wide receiver John Metchie III and a 2026 sixth-round pick. Surprisingly enough, that 2026 sixth-round pick was also acquired in the C.J. Gardner-Johnson trade.
Last season, he played 45 percent of the Texans' offensive snaps and caught 24 balls for 254 yards and a touchdown.
After falling 20-10 to Minnesota last week, the Houston Texans play their second preseason game against the Panthers on Saturday.
