As we've already noticed from the Los Angeles Rams' 2025 NFL Draft class's Relative Athletic Score (RAS), the team didn't value athleticism. Instead, L.A. appeared to draft for team and scheme fit rather than for traits in the 2025 NFL Draft.

The Los Angeles Rams have done a complete 180 on the NFL draft. Previously laughing in the face of the event, the Rams thought they were too cool for the NFL offseason's marquee event. From flashy draft houses to openly adopting a slogan of " (expletive) them picks," there is no arguing that the strategy worked.

The Los Angeles Rams traded up for a lot of players they liked, but that doesn't mean the analytics world thinks it's a good class.
