Barcelona and Real would meet in the competition’s final for third consecutive time, with Carlo Ancelotti’s side prevailing last year while Barca last lifted the trophy in 2023.

Second-half goals by Jude Bellingham and Rodrygo helped Real Madrid to a 3-0 win over Mallorca in the Spanish Super Cup semi-finals on Thursday and set up a final showdown with Barcelona. England midfielder Bellingham broke the deadlock after the hour mark with a low shot into the middle of the goal following an excellent team move.

Real Madrid take on Mallorca today in Jeddah today, with a place in the Spanish Super Cup final against Barcelona on Sunday up for grabs. Defending champs Madrid beat Atlético Madrid in last year's final and will be hoping to take a step closer to retaining the trophy as Carlo Ancelotti's side look to add it to the FIFA Intercontinental Cup title they have already won so far this season.
